Fabric Banner Tutorial

I’ve been busy, busy, BUSY prepping for Quilt Market next week. I’ve sewn pretty clothes, a quilt, a few bags, and of course some decor! I shared a short video last week on Instagram (do you follow me there?) but thought I would try my hand at longer, more in-depth video. It’s my first, so it’s not the greatest. BUT, you’ll get to see how I made this nifty little fabric banner tutorial using my Cricut Explore and my Janome 4120. Hope you guys enjoy! OH, and all the fabrics used are from my Gleeful line that will debut in July!!!!

Hope you have a happy day!

  1. I bought my Explore a few weeks ago and have yet to use it for anything!! It’s just sitting there all sad. I NEED to do some projects!! It’s so cool!! Perhaps invites for my daughter’s birthday party coming up?

  2. More videos! Especially if you could do videos of hacks on patterns or to help explain the things that are hard to capture with still pictures (the corners on the placket of a Wicksten Tova come to mind).

  3. Caroline, I have a weird question for you: to go to Market, does one have to work in the industry? I live in Pittsburgh and was thinking it would be awesome to check out, but the website makes me think that average people can’t attend. Can you set the record straight for me? Thanks!!!
