FREE Blousy Bloomers Sewing Pattern with Huggies

I can’t believe it, but we are almost 6 months into being parents to Tinsley. As a first time mom, the past six months have been full of many changes in our lives, including figuring out how to manage running a biz, keeping a house, and being a mom. There are SO MANY things to remember! Luckily, we have a pretty awesome baby that loves her sleep. I put her in Huggies Snug & Dry diapers (snagged on sale at Kroger!) at night and don’t have to change her while she’s sleeping because the diapers offer up to 12 hours of protection. This is awesome news, because we all know you never wake a sleeping baby. Even to change her diaper. The triple layer of protection helps stop the leaks day and night – so even when we’re running errands, sewing together, cooking dinner, etc. the long-lasting leakage protection helps keep her dry all day and night long. sewcaroline.comsewcaroline.comblousy bloomers // www.sewcaroline.comIt’s beginning to look and feel a lot like spring and summer around here, so Tinsley is starting to wear dresses more often than before. They’re so easy for changing diapers (no buttons or snaps!) and keep her cool and able to move easily. One thing that completes a baby in a pretty dress is a cute pair of bloomers. Right?

This past summer I released a free bloomer pattern on my site, but pulled it because there were a few issues. Fortunately, I’ve revised it and it is now good to go. It’s sized NB-3T for any and all ages to wear!blousy bloomers // www.sewcaroline.comblousy bloomers //

  2. Oh thanks so much. I love the look of this pattern, and was one who had an issue, I can’t wait to make some more. Thanks again.

  3. Thank you so much! I love this pattern with the options for coordinating fabrics, and adding a cute trim like that! Also would be so great for recycling fabrics from shirts etc. Thank you again.

  4. Thanks so much for these little bloomers. I always like babies in bloomers. I’m going to make some for my great-grand daughter. She’s 7 months old.

  5. Thank you so much for this pattern! I love sewing for my new granddaughter and it has been hard to find a bloomer pattern. Very much appreciated.

  6. Adorable! I made my first bloomers yesterday with this pattern and it is much better than an old one I used last month. I do think they are quite blousy – I tried the 3 month ones I made for a new baby on my 19 month old and they were still a little blousy just needed a little more leg elastic and they would have been a perfect fit on her! So I will probably use the NB size and increase elastic to the 3m for 3 m size in the future. I love the construction – so neat and clean inside and perfect for a cute embroidery on the hieny 🙂
