SO! I am a bit late in releasing this pattern, as it’s already been in the shop for about a month, but with our travels to Colorado and south Texas in July and August, I was just not able to get as much blogging/work done as I had anticipated. I really love this top/dress and although it is sleeveless, it can be layered to wear into fall, so I really think you can still get some wear out of it 🙂
Without further adieu…
The San Francisco Swing Top + DressThe San Francisco Swing is a comfortably fitting swing top and dress designed with a high neckline and the option to have a full or split back. The arm and neck lines are finished with bands, for a simple, yet professional touch. These summer staples will be made and worn over and over again!
The San Fransisco Swing Top + Dress…
Is a versatile pattern that can be made and worn several different ways: a swingy dress, a drapey top, or a fun split back top. It’s casual and comfortable and perfect to pair with your favorite jeans or a pair of Parkside Shorts.
For fabric, I suggest sewing with a Light to medium weight knit such as jersey, rayon, polyester, or other light weight blends. You want your fabric to be drapey/bouncy/flowy, with at least 40% stretch. I’ll be sharing tester photos later this week (or early next!) so stay tuned for that.
