About Caroline Hulse - Lifestyle BloggerABOUT

Hello, Friends! I’m so glad you’ve found my space online, here is a bit about me!

My name is Caroline Hulse, author + content creator of CarolineHulse.com. I reside in Fort Worth, Texas with my husband (David) and two kiddos (Tinsley – October 2015 and Harrison – July 2017). This blog has been around since 2010, and if you know who I am, you probably know me by my former blog name, Sew Caroline. In 2010, I began writing about sewing projects, DIYs, my favorite fabrics and the like. I became completely obsessed with everything SEWING and soon saw it as a viable career. By 2014, I had made sewing my business. I designed wearable sewing patterns for women and had the opportunity to design fabrics for my FAVORITE fabric manufacturing company, Art Gallery Fabrics. In April of 2017, my first book, Sew Caroline Weekend Style was finally published (18 months in the making, people!). In this book, I share 15 different patterns for clothing, bags, accessories, etc. If you’re a seamstress who has a knack for sewing their own clothing, you should definitely grab a copy!

With the addition of two little ones to the Hulse family, passion and focus has shifted. No longer are the nights of staying up to the wee hours of the morning finishing projects in the sewing studio or dreaming up an entirely handmade outfit. I am now more concerned with comfortable fashion and always asking myself will this show spit up?

Y’all, I am so excited for this (long time coming) shift in blog content and I really hope you are too! I plan on sharing everyday fashion, beauty tips, kid-approved DIYs as well as some handmade fashion sprinkled in here and there.

Thanks for being here! <3

  1. Hello,
I stumbled across your IG recently and fell in love. I’m not much of a seamstress. I will definitely try though! I was wondering if you sale any of your work!? I saw a bag you made and know I couldn’t possibly make that. Do you have a little shop?
